We are excited to announce we will be speaking at VRTO 2019 this year!
VRTO 2019, running June 1st to 3rd, is an international exhibition of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, professional conference and solutions-focused symposium exploring arts, culture, society, humanities, ethics and sciences through immersive technologies. There are limited tickets this year, so be sure to pick one up before they totally sell out.
We will be speaking on June 3rd at 4pm, with an expanded talk from our earlier GDC2019 presentation, with more focus on the challenges and opportunities of adapting documentary philosophy into the virtual medium, with all the challenges on the way.
This year the conference will be held at Toronto Media Arts Centre, an incredible facility that houses several key Toronto media art organizations under one roof, several of whom are partners and supporters of our VR documentary project, The Choice VR, which we will be showing a sample of at the exhibition.
With the Oculus Quest just launching and blowing past all sales estimates, we believe 2019 with the be year VR finally hit its stride! So there is no better time to jump in!
